Terms of Service

1. Scope

These Terms of Service govern your use of the GTA Garage Tracker web application (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms.

2. Operator and Contact

The Service is operated by Thore Kues. For questions about these terms, please contact kues.thore@gmail.com.

3. Service Description

GTA Garage Tracker is a fan-made companion application for GTA Online. The Service is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive.

  • Manage virtual garages and vehicle collections
  • Store account-related preferences and profile information
  • Share garages or profile information through optional share features
  • Upload images and participate in crews and community features

4. Account Access

Access requires authentication through Discord OAuth. You are responsible for activities carried out through your account and must not share access credentials or use another person's account without authorization.

5. Permitted Use

The Service is intended for lawful private use within the functional scope we provide.

  • Use the Service only in compliance with applicable law
  • Use only your own account and your own or lawfully usable content
  • Do not interfere with platform security, availability, or integrity
  • Do not scrape, automate, or access the Service in a way that bypasses intended technical limits
  • Do not impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity

6. User Content

You may upload images and submit text content such as bios, crew descriptions, and crew posts. You retain your rights in your content. By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive right to host, store, process, and display that content as needed to operate the Service.

  • You are solely responsible for the content you submit
  • You confirm that you have the necessary rights to upload and share the content
  • Public and shared content may be visible to other users or visitors depending on the feature used
  • You may delete your content or delete your account, subject to limited retention described in the Privacy Policy

7. Prohibited Content and Conduct

The following content and conduct are prohibited and may lead to removal, suspension, or permanent account bans:

  • Pornographic, sexually explicit, or otherwise prohibited NSFW content
  • Child sexual abuse material and any equivalent illegal exploitation content
  • Illegal content of any kind
  • Harassment, threats, hate speech, or targeted abuse
  • Spam, commercial solicitation, or deceptive behaviour
  • Content that infringes third-party intellectual property or personality rights
  • Attempts to evade technical restrictions, moderation measures, or account bans

8. Automated Review of Images

Uploaded images may be scanned automatically before storage. This includes third-party classification for prohibited explicit content and provider-side CSAM checks where applicable. Images that fail these checks may be rejected or removed.

9. Moderation

We may review reported or otherwise suspicious content and take moderation action where necessary to protect the platform, comply with legal obligations, or enforce these terms.

  • Content may be removed without prior notice where necessary
  • Accounts may be restricted temporarily or permanently depending on the severity of the violation
  • We may notify affected users about moderation measures taken on their content or account
  • Moderation decisions are made at our reasonable discretion based on the circumstances of the case

10. Suspensions and Permanent Bans

Serious or repeated violations may lead to temporary suspension or permanent exclusion from the Service.

  • Temporary suspensions may block access for a defined period
  • Permanent bans may result in irreversible loss of access
  • A hashed identifier derived from the Discord account may be retained after a permanent ban to prevent ban evasion as described in the Privacy Policy
  • Attempts to return through the same identity after a permanent ban are prohibited

11. Availability and Changes

We may change, expand, restrict, or discontinue features of the Service where this is reasonably necessary for technical, operational, legal, or security reasons. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

12. Accuracy of Content and Data

The Service includes game-related information that may change over time. We do not guarantee that in-game data, prices, classifications, or availability information will always be complete, current, or error-free.

13. Disclaimer of Warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we do not provide warranties regarding uninterrupted operation, freedom from defects, or fitness for a particular purpose.

14. Liability

Our liability is not excluded for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body, or health, or where mandatory statutory liability applies. In all other cases, liability is limited to the extent permitted by applicable law.

15. Account Deletion and Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and may delete your account through the available account settings. We may suspend or terminate access if necessary to enforce these terms, maintain platform security, or comply with legal obligations.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms where necessary for legal, technical, or operational reasons. Material changes will be communicated through the Service, and renewed acceptance may be required before continued use.

17. Severability

If any provision of these terms is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective.

18. Governing Law

These terms are governed by German law, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer and mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of habitual residence apply, those mandatory protections remain unaffected.
